Informational tool

HijriConv converts dates between the Gregorian calendar and the Islamic (Hijri) calendar using the Umm al-Qura tables and the tabular arithmetic calendar. These are civil calculations provided for general information. They are not moon-sighting determinations and are not a religious ruling. For fasting, Eid, Hajj, and other observances, follow the announcement of your local religious authority.

No warranty

The tool is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. While the calendar calculations are tested against well-documented date pairs, HijriConv does not guarantee that every computed date matches a local sighting or a particular authority's calendar. Verify important dates independently.

Your data

Saved dates and preferences live in your browser's local storage. You are responsible for keeping your own records; clearing browser storage removes them. See our Privacy page for details.

Premium

Premium features are sold through RevenueCat and Stripe and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; a lifetime purchase is a one-time payment. Access on the web is tied to the browser you purchase in and can be moved with your access code via the Restore page.

Refunds

Not happy with a purchase? Email [email protected] within 14 days of a first purchase, or within 7 days of a renewal, and we will refund it. Send the message from the email address you used at checkout, and include:

  • the email address used at checkout (if you are writing from a different address)
  • your access code, shown on the Premium page while you are signed in on the browser you purchased from
  • roughly when you purchased, and which plan (weekly, yearly or lifetime)
  • the last 4 digits of the card, if you have the receipt handy

That is everything needed to find the purchase and process the refund. This policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of HijriConv constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
